Greensmere Golf & Country Club is a 36 hole championship golf course near Ottawa, just ten minutes west of Kanata.

Situated on almost 400 acres of land, this is a "must play" golf course.

Our facility has been designed to eliminate slow play and challenge golfers. The tees, fairways and greens are bentgrass. According to many, Greensmere has the best greens in the Ottawa Valley.   Choose from our renowned and popular Premiere course, Greensmere's original 18-hole championship layout or our spectacular new 18-hole Legacy course, named in memory of golf course designer and owner John Green.

On the Premiere course, the front nine is based on a links style layout, bordered with majestic pine trees and a 30 foot elevation change.  The back nine has spectacular sculpted beauty with elevation changes up to 60 feet and an infamous birch tree growing through the 1934 Ford tractor in the middle of the 17th fairway. The Legacy course is more challenging , with its tree lined fairways, large ponds, and elevated tees and greens.

We have an informal clubhouse which serves breakfast on the weekends and holidays and a simple but varied menu for lunch, supper or evening snacks. Our chef operates a kitchen that goes beyond traditional fast food fare, producing homemade meals and snacks from fresh products. Most days you are drawn to the lounge by the smell of homemade cookies and muffins. A completely enclosed outdoor patio is attached to the lounge.

Our stadium style-driving range accommodates up to 100 players who can also use our large practice putting green and short game practice facility for their warm-up.
